In this episode, we welcomed guest Willy Sasso, screenwriter and co-writer of The Nefarious Mr. Green Issue #2 comic that is currently in production. Joker by Brian Azzarello and Drinking at the Movies by Julia Wertz.

Episode 3 - First Comic Story

In this special Episode 3, Eric and Keegan discuss Keegan’s journey of creating his first comic “The Nefarious Mr. Green” (still in production at the time of this episode being posted). Follow along with the discussion of the different artists and example pages by going to this post on their website dumbcomiccreators.com. Keegan worked with several different artists on test pages before ending with Luis Santamarina whose website is mitomante.com.ar

They also discussed comics they read this week, including Eric’s pick Drops of God by Tadashi Agi and Keegan’s pick Today is the Last Day of the Rest of Your Life by Ulli Lust

Episode 2 - A Tumultuous Review of Eric's First Comic Script - A Review of Haunting by Phil Falco - 0102

Whoooaaaa this podcast is SLIGHTLY tedious…if slightly can be considered interchangable with ENORMOUSLY. We read Eric’s first draft of his comic script on this episode. We talk about formatting. We talk about intention. We talk about what his script is missing and keys to making it better. It’s VERY CONSTRUCTIVE…But good news for listeners, if you give up on the script talk, we’ve dropped some songs in as chapter markers to skip ahead if you want! We also review and talk about Phil Falco’s comic Haunting #1. And we discuss what we’ve read this week. Thanks for listening!
